«La necesidad de crear un espacio que reuniera todos aquellos elementos cautivadores de la cultura austral, me llevó a inaugurar en 1994 Vicki Johnson Fine Foods and Gifts.
Aquí es donde almaceno la habilidad del artesano junto a la generosidad de la naturaleza, combinación que da origen a singulares objetos de arte, piezas únicas que cautivan a los visitantes nacionales como extranjeros. Pero mi origen y formación también fueron partícipes de este desafío. Las antiguas recetas familiares y la experiencia en gastronomía internacional impregnaron mi almacén de cálidos sabores y dulces aromas; chocolates, toffees, galletas, licores y conservas salen a diario de nuestra cocina.

Los ingredientes y especias naturales son parte de mis secretos, pero el más importante es aquel que no aparece en los libros: el cariño.»
